This fabric is an antique French skirting fabric, with a VERY cool detail! The British Turner prize winning artist, Cathy Wilkes used the other half of this textile in her art installation! This is on display at the Tate. Three years ago I was able to visit and see the installation ~ ( you can google Cathy Wilkes and then select google images ) ~ many of my fabrics hang there !~ She uses many of my textiles in her art ~*~
